Born and raised in Truckee, California I attended California State University, Chico and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  Work lead me to the Bay Area, where I began my career as an import/export specialist for a small company in Redwood City.  After several years, I moved to Sacramento where I worked as an Inventory Manager.  Later, I moved to Packard Bell Computer Company and worked as a Production Manager on the assembly line.

Eventually, I found my way to SBC (then Pacific Bell) where I found myself managing 10 supervisors and 110 technicians.  During this time, we had two children and I completed my Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Management.

After the birth of our second child, I took a year off, before deciding that being at home with our young ones was a privilege and an opportunity we get only once in a lifetime.

After several years at home, and the children in school, I was ready to once again join the workforce.  I began my new career in Real Estate . 

Ethics, dedication and hard work are the heart of real estate sales .  I have a desire to help people through what can be a highly emotional time.  Buying or selling a home, whatever the reason, is an extremely exciting and often stressful experience.  If I can help to facilitate a smooth transition for a family on the move, then I have met my goal for customer satisfaction.

Why real estate ?  I've always had a fascination for homes and people.  Both are unique, and both are intriguing with hidden personalities and qualities.  Trying to match a person or family to a home is a fascinating process.

I  also have a head for business.  I enjoy the multi-tasking, problem-solving, and the challenge of following through on a transaction.  In real estate, no detail is too small.  From checking permits, to coordinating inspections and subsequent repair activities, to dealing with lending issues there is never time to be bored!  The work is exciting and I learn something new every day!

I was a resident of Meadow Vista for 7 years before moving to Colfax where we currently reside.  I absolutely love the foothills .  For me, there is no better place.  I enjoy Truckee in the summer, but have had enough of shoveling snow to last me a lifetime!  This area is so beautiful, with so many wonderful lakes, rivers, trails, and mountains that so many of us take for granted.  To be able to live and work here is in itself a dream come true!
